BLACK AND WHITE SPIDER AWARDS HONORS
AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHER FROM USA, MANCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE

LONDON (January, 27th, 2006) - Amateur Photographer Lynda Elliott of USA, Manchester, New Hampshire was presented with the 2006 Black and White Spider Nominee Awards in the categories of Abstract and Still Life at a prestigious live online Awards Ceremony presented by Black and White Spider Awards to recognize excellence in black and white photography.

Thousands of images were received from over forty countries. The nominated photographers were selected by a who's who Judging Panel from the international photography community, including Magnum Photos (New York), Tate Gallery (London), and the Leica Photo Gallery. The Panel reviewed the images online over a four week period and Lynda's "Daily Reflections, Until Spring, Untitled I and Untitled II," exceptional images entered in the Abstract & Still Life categories, received a high percentage of votes overall.

"The Spider Awards celebrates photographers who operate at the highest levels of their craft," said the awards Creative Director, Basil O'Brien. "Lynda's work represents black and white imaging at its finest, and we're pleased to present her with four Nominees in Abstract & Still Life."
